The spring tour of ‘Mary Anning’s Fossil Depot’ concluded at ‘Thorners Primary School’, Litton Cheney just days before the opening of the Lyme Regis Fossil Festival in June. This years successful Dorset schools tour received no grant funding and was subsidised by AsOne’s ‘Free theatre for children’ initiative. It was particularly rewarding to see how the awareness and knowledge of Mary’s work and achievements has increased within the schools community.
